Originally, 137 Events was built in 1938 as the Kaweah Movie Theater. The building is in the heart of historic downtown Exeter, and has seen many owners throughout the years. In 1978, it was purchased by the same family that owns it today and has now been given new life as 137 Events. Our venue provides you with a space completely private to you and your guests. Our open vendor policy allows you to create your day your way. We look forward to giving you a tour of all that our space has to offer!
